I am TeKuay Stukes. I am a certified birthing and postpartum doula as well as a breastfeeding counselor and perinatal nutritionist. Cheylah Branh
Birth and Postpartum Doula
Hey! I’m Chey and I’d love to be your doula! Born in Southern VA and raised all over the DMV area, I have always wanted to help people. Having experience in the medical field, I ultimately would love to become a Midwife and start a collective with like minded individuals who believe in providing a village and “Mothering the Mother”. I have attended trainings with MaternityWise Institute with their Full Spectrum program (Labor, EpiDoula, Postpartum, and Lactation Support and Education) as well as their Infant Sleep Solutions course and I am currently one of their certified Labor doulas. I am constantly researching and willing to broaden my knowledge to be the best I can for my families.I am a mother of four boys, 3 of which had NICU time (2 micro preemies and 1 term). I have experience with children with special needs (oxygen, g-tube, reflux, developmental delays, and more). I am very compassionate and empathetic to the needs of my clients. In my free time I enjoy listening to music (all types!), taking photos, and researching topics in regards to maternal and infant health.
