Become a Doula

Become the Doula Families Remember Forever.

10 Years of 100% Maternal Survival. One Proven Pathway to Practice.

Most doula trainings leave you with a certificate but no path to a career. Sweet Bee Services offers the only clinical foundation blended with a high-touch business launchpad that is proven to save lives. Whether you are starting from scratch or integrating your current professional expertise, we provide the blueprint for excellence and the systems for success: the Gold Standard of Birth Support.

Your Pathway to Doula Mastery

  • Step 1: The Foundation

Begin your doula career with an intensive 6-week foundational training designed to help you embody the clinical, physiological, and emotional essentials of birth and postpartum support. You will gain deep expertise in labor anatomy and the “Survival Protocol”, our specific high-risk and emergency safety procedures that have maintained our 10-year record of 100% maternal survival. This stage prepares you to navigate hospital advocacy and equity-centered care, ensuring you are ready to support families as a skilled doula.

Offered Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2026

  • Step 2: The Bridge

Transition immediately into our rolling 90-day business mentorship to bridge the gap between being a student doula and becoming a booked professional. During this “Launch” phase, you will undergo Identity Integration, turning your previous professional skills into a unique, marketable doula brand. By establishing a comprehensive Business Hub, you will implement sustainable administrative systems, define your ideal client niche, and develop the community partnerships needed to secure your first leads and achieve full certification.

  • Step 3: The Fellowship

Upon certification, you are eligible to apply for the Sweet Bee Fellowship, our elite Community-Based Doula Team. This year-long fellowship is where the "Trained to Booked™" philosophy meets high-impact action, providing essential care to Medicaid-eligible families across Maryland.

This phase is designed to build your clinical volume and sharpen your advocacy skills within institutional healthcare systems, allowing you to apply your safety training on the front lines of maternal health equity. As a Fellow, you bridge the gap between community support and systemic change while establishing yourself as a seasoned practitioner.

  • Step 4: The Mastery

The final stage of the pathway leads to the Concierge level, where you demonstrate elite mastery by specializing in additional allied health and support fields. As a Concierge Doula, you provide 360-degree, premium care for families seeking a high-touch, multidisciplinary experience. This elite designation recognizes you as a leader in the field, capable of managing pregnancy and postpartum needs with the highest level of professional expertise and clinical safety. It also opens opportunities to join the Sweet Bee Concierge Team, representing the pinnacle of our professional network and providing the most comprehensive care available in the industry.
